Warm-up and Exit Ticket
In this printable warm-up / bell-ringer activity, students will choose one event they have learned so far. They describe or explain what happened in their chosen event, and the significance of the event to the Republic of Texas. This warm-up can be used on each day of this multi-day assignment, with students choosing a new event each time they complete it.
In this exit ticket, students will create a True/False statement based on information from the lesson and explain why their statement is true or false. This exit ticket can be used on each day of this multi-day assignment, with students creating a new question each time.
The Warm-up and Exit Ticket document includes two warm-ups on the front of the page and two exit tickets on the back of the page. This formatting reduces the number of copies needed, as teachers will cut each printed page in half. Each student will receive a half-page with the warm-up on the front and the exit on the back.
